WNSR is The New School University’s online college radio station. Launched in Spring 2007 as a student organization, it became the focus of a university wide course in order to maintain regular support for the station. Today, students from across The New School enrolled in radio courses in The New School for General Studies’ Media Studies program, Eugene Lang College, and Parsons The New School for Design collaborate in programming, design and maintenance of the website and marketing duties. WNSR, however, is open to all students and provides them the opportunity to share their creative work.
Following the model of public radio, WNSR seeks to not only entertain but to also encourage insightful dialogue with our talk shows, to enlighten with unique features and to inform with regular newscasts. Our programming reflects the diversity of our student body and New York City, offering our listeners a wide range of fresh, bold and thoughtful content.
As an online station, we are dedicated to maximizing the platform making the WNSR listening experience an easy and enjoyable one. The website features several components that make the listening experience more personal. Comment sections with each program allow listeners the chance to share feedback with producers and our announcements section gives a heads-up on when they can interact with the WNSR contributors. In addition, newschoolradio.org allows users to download and subscribe to their favorite shows.
As WNSR grows, we are committed to becoming one of the definitive voices of the university and remaining innovative in the realm of college radio.

How would I go about subscribing to some of these shows as podcasts?
Would like to see these as iTunes podcasts so I can automatically subscribe. I got no results when I searched on how to do this on your site and iTunes. If this feature becomes available, please email me. Thanks!
