Welcome to the fourth installment of AMPLIFIED FRIENDS. For this episode we discuss how we spent our summer vacations. We are also joined by the newest member of the Amplified Friends team, Julie Hurd.

First off, Peter takes us on a tour of his travels to Ireland for the Kilkenny Arts Festival. We listen to the diverse festival sounds from hip hop groups to wedding bands, a classical guitar virtuoso and a band of street performers. Then Malcolm discusses his sound work on a film made in Port Clyde, Maine and plays us a portion of the soundtrack he composed. Finally, we are introduced to our new co-host Julie. She talks to us about her move to New York City, her past adventures in France and shares two of her own songs “Two Fat Cats” and “It’s Too Hot.”
