What is a “cultural response to climate change?”  How can art interpret a realm often viewed as purely scientific and data-driven?  Which artists can lead, in expressing the way our world is changing around us?  These questions and more are addressed in this conversation with David Buckland and Chris Wainwright, the curators of the U-n-f-o-l-d exhibition.

U-n-f-o-l-d, a project of Cape Farewell, is showing at the Sheila Johnson Design Center at The New School for Fall 2011, and WNSR is providing special coverage of events and public programming surrounding the exhibition.  Sarah E. Lawrence, Dean of the School of Art and Design History and Theory at Parsons, joined Buckland and Wainwright for this talk, which took place on September 30, 2011.
